Warranties
All warranties issued by the company cover the repair to the specific item warranted, not any subsequent damage that may be caused to other areas of the home due to the failure of the work or product that was warranted.
Repair Work Warranties:
Any warranties issued on repair work, bandage work, or patchwork that is not a full installation or replacement will cover only the area or item worked on. It does not cover other areas surrounding or related to the problem. In other words, we warranty our work, not the leak, which can come from multiple sources.
For example, we warranty the area we are hired to repair only. Often, leaks come from the combination of several different problem areas converging into one spot. A second service call or repair ticket may be needed to address these areas, or a complete replacement may be recommended so that we can warranty the "leak."
If a customer hires us for a replacement job within six months of a repair job, 50% of the cost of the repair will be credited towards the cost of the installation or replacement. Reseal jobs are warranted for one year.
Seamless Gutter Installation:
10-Year Warranty covers any repairs that may be needed to the gutters due to faulty workmanship or material defects. The finish/paint is warranted for life, meaning you will never have to repaint our gutters (just clean the outside finish of your gutters once every 3 years to keep them looking new). The material is warranted for 10 years, meaning you will never have to replace it-it won't rust, break, or wear out for 10 years. The pitch of the gutter is guaranteed to always drain the water runoff to your leaders and not hold more than 1/4" of water. Corners, seams, and end caps are warranted never to leak thanks to our 50-year sealant. While the sealant may last longer, we will cover it for 10 years under our warranty.
The warranty does not cover any repairs needed due to:
Mother Nature
Acts of God
Damage caused by other persons
Examples:
Tree falls on gutter
Ice Damage
Bent, broken, or pulled gutter
House fires
Roofers damaging the gutter while replacing your roof
House settling or shifting, throwing off the pitch of the gutter
The most common inquiry related to a gutter installation job is water leaking behind the gutter after install. If this is caused by a new roof or changes to the drip edge, a service call will be required, which may result in a charge. To make a claim, you must present to CNY Seamless Gutters, via email or mail, a signed copy of this card, which is non-transferable.
